HYPE Meetings:  Sundays, 4-6pm  |  Youth Grades 6-12

If you're looking for real friendships, a place to belong, and a space to grow in your faith - you've found it!

HYPE is a community for 6th - 12th grade students where faith is fun, friendships run deep, and every person matters.

We gather on Sunday afternoons for games, worship, and digging into God's Word together. Beyond Sundays, we serve our community and recharge our faith on retreats and through special gatherings.

What's the HYPE?

From summer days at Lake Junaluska  to serving on mission trips to digging into God's Word and just having fun together, Holland's Youth is all about doing life side by side!

 A Year with HYPE

Here's a peek at what a year looks like!

☀️ Sunday Nights: Games, worship, and real conversations about faith, most every week during the school year.

🛠️ Serving Others: From local projects to mission trips, we put our faith into action!

🌲 Retreats & Getaways: Recharge with friends at Lake Junaluska, during retreats like Discovery Weekend and Fort Caswell, plus this year we are doing a winter weekend to Winterplace for snowy fun!

🎉 Special Nights: Pizza parties, costume nights, Christmas lock-ins, and more!


What to Expect Your First Sunday

Where We Meet
The Youth Room is at the end of the church near the old chapel. Come in using the side door entrance by the Mason Lodge and look for a leader waiting to welcome you.
Meeting Time
Sundays, 4-6pm (August - May)

What to Wear
We want to honor God in everything we do, including how we dress. Youth are encouraged to wear comfy clothes that fit that goal!
Our games can get active, so pick something you can move, run, and play in. Most of all, come as you are. We're just glad you're here!
What We Do
Our nights start off with hangout time for snacks, games, and catching up. Then we jump into the heart of our meeting with a time of worship, large group games, digging into God's word together, and intentional time with our small groups.
Snacks
YES! There are definitely snacks. Our Youth LOVE snacks!
Don't Know Anyone?
No problem! Plenty of our students were new once, and many of the local schools are represented in our group.

We'll make sure you're not on your own.

Ways to Get Involved:

📖 Sunday School (Sunday mornings, 9:45am): Want more time with your youth friends? Students in grades 6-12 meet in Room 205 for discussions and fellowship, all about applying God's Word to everyday life. Come to one or come every week!
